Introducing Compression Therapy that goes beyond conventional “Turbulators”

Veterinarians, Farriers, Trainers and Horse Owners alike are discovering the benefits of compression therapy for the treatment of injuries to horses. Vascular PRN now offers a sequential horse compression system that combines two proven methods: Sequential Compression and Cold Therapy. Combining these two methods ensures maximum therapeutic effectiveness.

The Vascular PRN Horse Compression System enables sequential pneumatic compression treatment for:

  • Trauma
  • Cellulitis
  • Thrombosis
  • Lymphangitis
  • And more

Increased Tolerance over Conventional “Turbulators”

The Vascular PRN Horse Compression System is designed to effectively relieve swelling by utilizing cold therapy and progressively moving fluid from the hoof. The system provides a soothing massage that increases circulation, reduces swelling and alleviates pain. Ordinary turbulator systems only provide simple, intermittent compression, while the Vascular PRN system’s multi-air-chamber, sequential approach applies more constant therapy — a feature that makes it vastly more effective.

How It Works:

The system can be used with or without cold.

If using cold and compression place garment in freezer for a minimum of four hours. After removing garment from freezer, the internal material will maintain a constant 40 Degrees F interface temperature on the horse’s skin for several hours. The cold and sequential compression progresses from just above the hoof in a distal to proximal direction until the garment is fully pressurized. Following a brief relaxation phase, the cycle repeats.

  • Reduces swelling
  • Improves circulation
  • Sleeves are easy-on, easy-off
  • Sleeves contain freezable gel for combined cryo/compression therapy
  • Air pump operates very quietly

Vascular PRN has been providing medical equipment since 1989. We know what works.

The Vascular PRN Horse Compression System utilizes the same technology that has been helping human legs recover from trauma for many years. Now it’s ready to get your horse back in action, faster!
